The old adage, “When you are ready the teacher will appear,” is certainly true for me. Rita Schwartz is that teacher for me.
I’d been an entrepreneur in massage and bodywork for 10 years and needed a little boost to get to the next level in my business and marketing plan. So I ventured out one night to check out a seminar on “telling others about your business” and met a very dynamic person named Rita Schwartz, who sparked my interest. She was just starting the Genie Network and I became a charter member that night. Now I need to tell you about Rita’s talent in setting up websites. I’ve done office work for 30+ years. I’ve grown from using the old fashioned typewriter, to the electric typewriter, to the computer, and now with Rita’s help to the world wide web. I thought I could learn to set up my own website by going to classes and buying and learning the software. WRONG! One day I woke up and realized that I’m not a high tech kind of girl, and I needed a professional to get me going on this website project. So where did I go but to Rita—she is so technically advanced—like she’s been running marathons while I’ve been in the 5Ks of office technology, if you know what I mean. And here’s the best part—she doesn’t bore you with the details but gets you thinking about your marketing plan and presenting your business to the world. It was a giant leap for me in my thinking processes. Now I’m ready and open to tell the world who I am. Rita is very patient and coaches me every step of the way. She teaches me how to go into the website and keep it up to date. She has many ideas on expanding the presentation, always keeping it moving along in a dynamic way.
